Intersekt Festival for Fintech Australia

In October 2017, member organisation Fintech Australia held its inaugural national festival for the fintech (financial services technology startup) industry.

​

Known as the Intersekt, the festival ran over a week in Melbourne.

​

StoryPower delivered and implemented a communication strategy for the event, which included:

  • Securing media partnerships with three media outlets 

  • Co-ordinating media passes and representatives

  • Liaising with the Australian Treasurer's and State Ministerial offices, in relation to announcements and speeches

  • Social media and enewsletter promotion

  • Achieving mentions of the festival in 300 articles with a potential audience reach of 92 million.

  • Launching the 2017 EY Fintech Australia industry census
